Nightmare Magazine #76 Review

Hello, my shadowed siblings!

2019’s first issue of Nightmare Magazine released earlier this month.  My review of the two dark fantasy stories by Natalie Theodoridou and Vajra Chandrasekera is live on TangentOnline.com. I’m not going to lie—I’ve reviewed Nightmare before and loved the literary feel the stories the select have but this issue was a huge miss for me.

Cosmic Roots & Eldritch Shores, August 2018

This month, Cosmic Roots & Eldritch Shores brings us a story by Joan Stewart called “Rapunzel—A Re-Winding.”  I really quite liked this story.  Stewart takes the familiar tale and turns it a bit on its head, exploring notions like love, magic, and misconceptions.  If you love fairy tales, then you’ll enjoy this.
