Nightmare Magazine #76 Review

Hello, my darklings!

2019’s first issue of Nightmare Magazine released earlier this month.  My review of the two dark fantasy stories by Natalie Theodoridou and Vajra Chandrasekera is live on TangentOnline.com. I’m not going to lie—I’ve reviewed Nightmare before and loved the literary feel the stories the select have but this issue was a huge miss for me.

Nightmare #70, July 2018

Allison Littlewood and Caspian Gray are the two authors featured in July’s Nightmare Magazine #70.  Littlewood’s “Ways to Wake” is has hints of Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Black Cat,” while Gray’s “Kylie Land” tells of a lonely boy who makes a new friend with an unusual talent—the ability to step into people’s minds.
